What Is The SSHS?

The Searchmont Station Historical Society (SSHS) was created back in 2014.  Known then as the Searchmont Station Preservation & Historical Society once it was determined that we could obtain the old station in Searchmont.  The Society started with 3 members, and now had a board of directors of 7 people, all with the common goal to help preserve our railway history and a reinstatement of the station.  The group will be fully incorporated in September, and is under going the process at this time.
